Local barber set to host third annual back-to-school event

BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Local barber Chrishaun Harris, known as “CuttByRed,” is giving back in a big way as he hosts his 3rd Annual Back to School Cuttz & Giveaway on Wednesday, August 6, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Hooter Park in Bossier City.

The community event will offer free haircuts, school supplies, and more to help students head back to class feeling confident and supported. Harris, who has built a strong reputation both in and out of the barbershop, says this event is about more than just fresh fades—it’s about sending a positive message.

“I’ve always wanted to give back. I’m blessed enough to share the blessing so kids can know there are good people in the world,” Harris said. “Everybody doesn’t have to make money illegally- there are other ways.”

Donations are currently being accepted, and families are encouraged to come out for a day filled with community spirit and generosity.

Location: Hooter Park, 1519 Hooter St, Bossier City.
