Richmond, San Pablo power outage Wednesday impacting thousands

(BCN) — A PG&E power outage is impacting most of the city of San Pablo and a large portion of Richmond Wednesday afternoon. The outage is affecting 3,364 customers in San Pablo and 2,749 in Richmond, according to PG&E’s outage website.

The company said the outage was unplanned but didn’t specify a possible cause. Customers can expect power to be restored by about 1:15 p.m., according to PG&E.

“Our team is evaluating the electrical system to identify damaged sections and make necessary repairs in order to safely turn the power back on,” the company said on its website.
