
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — One person is wounded, and multiple people have been detained following a shooting that happened in the Mid-City area of New Orleans on July 16.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, officers responded to the shooting, which happened near the intersection of Ulloa and South Pierce streets, around 11:40 a.m.
On scene, a person was found having been shot at least one time. New Orleans EMS and Fire Department units arrived on scene to provide treatment to the victim, and he was later reportedly brought to the hospital and listed in stable condition.
Police also say that multiple suspects were detained on scene. No further information was provided.
