The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is looking for a 16-year-old girl who left a residence in Isanti in June.
Karen Estefania Ruales-Coraizaca was reported as a runaway on June 19 to the Columbia Heights Police Department and remains missing almost a month later.
According to authorities, Ruales Coraizaca was living with relatives in Isanti when they informed her mother that the teenager had left their home without notice on June 15.
Ruales-Coraizaca has been in contact with her mother, but has not told her where she has been staying. Authorities believe she is with unknown friends.
Police describe her as 4’11”, weighing 120 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on Ruales-Coraizaca is asked to contact the Columbia Heights Police at 763-427-1212.
