FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Over one dozen drivers were arrested Friday for driving under the influence in Fresno County, the California Highway Patrol said.

On Friday, CHP conducted a Rapid Arrest of Intoxicated Drivers (RAID) operation, searching for impaired drivers across Fresno County in areas with high rates of DUI-related collisions and arrests.

CHP says the operation led to hundreds of traffic stops, including 17 DUI arrests, 10 traffic citations, 106 verbal warnings, and 13 impounded vehicles.
