
In a Facebook post, the Seymour Police Department confirmed that its officers saw the driver of a silver Ford SUV commit a traffic infraction in the area of U.S. Highways 50 and 31 Thursday evening. After watching the violation, SPD conducted a traffic stop with the driver of the vehicle.
During the stop, SPD officers developed probable cause to search the vehicle and its four occupants. Police found methamphetamine, fentanyl, syringes, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of cash during their search.
SPD also reported that one of the car’s occupants tried to inconspicuously throw a baggie out of the vehicle and onto the ground during the traffic stop.
SPD arrested the following individuals during the stop:
32-year-old Tressa Wells of Seymour
- Dealing in methamphetamine — Level 2 Felony
- Possession of narcotics — Level 6 Felony
- Possession of methamphetamine — Level 6 Felony
- Possession of a syringe — Level 6 Felony
- Obstruction of justice — Level 6 Felony
- Possession of marijuana — Class A Misdemeanor
- Possession of paraphernalia — Class A Misdemeanor
31-year-old Clayton Douglas of Seymour
- Dealing in methamphetamine — Level 2 Felony
- Possession of narcotics — Level 6 Felony
- Possession of methamphetamine — Level 6 Felony
- Possession of a syringe — Level 6 Felony
- Obstruction of justice — Level 6 Felony
- Possession of marijuana — Class A Misdemeanor
- Possession of paraphernalia — Class A Misdemeanor
26-year-old Bredon Keys of Cincinnati, Ohio
- Possession of narcotics — Level 6 Felony
- Possession of methamphetamine — Level 6 Felony
- Possession of marijuana — Class A Misdemeanor
- Possession of paraphernalia — Class A Misdemeanor
54-year-old Derrick Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio
- Possession of methamphetamine — Level 6 Felony
- Possession of narcotics — Level 6 Felony
