BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A full-time employee with the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections has been suspended.
In a statement, the department confirmed Director of Mental Health Blake LeBlanc was placed on suspension on the morning of Friday, July 11, pending an investigation.
The department says it was made aware of a Zoom call on the afternoon of Thursday, July 10, which involved LeBlanc.
The specifics of the Zoom call have not been confirmed to Louisiana First News.
