Scattered rain arrives later in the day

Quieter and warm in Acadiana this Friday morning as rain has remained mostly offshore. Scattered showers and storms are possible today but should develop after 11:00 am as rain chances run at 40% during the afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the lower 90s with a heat index around 100° followed by rained cooled air.
