Kaysville vandalism continues with incident at Ponds Park

KAYSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — Kaysville Police are investigating another act of vandalism where a toilet was blown up at Ponds Park.

Around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Kaysville Fire Department responded to the incident at the park. There, they discovered an improvised device made from an aerosol can and mortar firework that was used and damaged the restroom.

This incident is part of a trend in the last three weeks where several other parks, restrooms and public facilites have been vandalized, including an incident where a restroom was damaged at the Angel Street Soccer Complex, where a toilet was blown apart.

The cost of the damage at Ponds Park is unknown and the Kaysville Police Department is reviewing surveillance footage from the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
