Two people shot and killed in southeast Charlotte neighborhood: Medic

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two people were shot and killed Wednesday afternoon in southeast Charlotte, in an area surrounded by apartment complexes and townhomes.

First responders rushed to the 7300 block of Pebblestone Drive on Wednesday afternoon, July 2, for reports of shots fired. When Medic arrived at the scene, two people were found with gunshot wounds and sadly pronounced deceased.

QCN is sending a crew to gather more details about what happened. So far, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have not released information about the victims or any possible suspects.

CMPD has confirmed this incident is being investigated as a homicide.
