BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Louisiana State Police is looking for a suspect in a deadly hit-and-run crash in Baton Rouge.
According to LSP, troopers were called to a crash on La. Highway 327 Spur near Rush Avenue on June 23.
During the investigation, troopers learned that Daniel Garcia, 36, of Baton Rouge, was walking across the intersection of Rush Avenue and LA Spur 327 between 3:45 a.m. and 5 a.m. before he was hit by a vehicle. For unknown reasons, the driver of the vehicle left the scene without contacting authorities. Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.
State Police is asking that anyone with information regarding the fatal crash contact LSP at 225-754-8500.
