Fredericksburg police investigating shooting that hurt minor

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (DC News Now) — The Fredericksburg Police Department is investigating a shooting.

On Monday, around 10:15 p.m., officers responded to reports of someone having been shot in the 1100 block of Central Park Blvd. There, officers found a minor who had been shot.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Witnesses said they saw two young men at the scene. One of the suspects was identified as Camron Robinson, 20.

Robinson is wanted for aggravated malicious wounding, discharge of a firearm in a public place, and use or display of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

The investigation is still ongoing.
