SWEPCO boosts customer service with Spanish translation feature

LOUISIANA (KTAL/KMSS) — SWEPCO is eliminating some language barriers by adding a Spanish translation feature to its website.

The initiative is part of SWEPCO’s efforts to enhance the user experience for all customers. Spanish-speaking customers will be able to easily navigate the website to access their accounts, pay bills, report outages, and find important information. This feature will be available to Spanish-speaking communities across the company’s three-state service territory.

“From our research, we know having bilingual agents along with this new website feature will
help our customers have the tools and information they need, and we’re happy to offer this
enhancement,” said Paul Pratt, Director of Customer Services and Marketing.

From now on, all new content added to the website will be translated into Spanish within 24 hours.
