ENFIELD, Conn. (WWLP) – A woman was arrested in Enfield after being tracked by K-9 Dunkin from a vehicle with an unregistered license plate.
On Wednesday, an officer noticed a vehicle on Freshwater Boulevard in Enfield that had a license plate that was not registered to that vehicle. The driver of the vehicle attempted to drive away from the officers and drove into the Enfield Commons.
A woman was seen getting out of the vehicle and running on foot while in the Starbucks drive-thru. Once the vehicle was stopped, it was discovered that the woman who ran away had an active order of protection against the man in the driver’s seat.
K-9 Dunkin of the Enfield Police Department tracked the vehicle through the Enfield Commons to Moe’s Southwest Grill. K-9 Dunkin alerted to the doors at Moe’s, where the woman was located inside, attempting to hide in the area of the bathrooms, where she was arrested.
The woman’s name and charges have not yet been released.
