(KLFY) — Afternoon storms are back on a daily basis this week as the summer heat and humidity continue for Acadiana. Temperatures will climb into the lower 90s later today leading to a heat index from 95° to 105°. Make sure to hydrate and take frequent breaks when working outside. Scattered storms look more likely today as rain chances increase to 50%.
Plan on afternoon storms each day this week but rain chances may come down a bit Wednesday through Friday. Highs are stuck in the 90s with lows each night falling into the 70s.
