LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)– The sixth annual Downtown Rising returns with a release of their upcoming lineup, including one of KLFY’s on-screen personalities, and guaranteed celebration.

Downtown Rising is set to take the stage on Sunday, September 28th at Parc International in the heart of Downtown Lafayette with promises to be the “ultimate Sunday Funday experience.”

Downtown Rising 2025 said they are excited to feature one of its most dynamic and inclusive lineups to date, blending Zydeco, Reggae, and World Music into a day-long celebration of family, culture, and community.

This year’s stellar lineup includes:

• Homegrown Reggae

• Low Dial

And KLFY News 10’s Gerald Gruenig will be performing with the Gentilly Zydeco band.

In addition to the music, guests can expect local food vendors, activities for all ages and a vibrant atmosphere showcasing the spirit of Acadiana and Downtown Lafayette’s continued rise.

The event will also be a heartfelt tribute to Social Entertainment 15th anniversary by highlighting the power of music, culture and community gathering.
