LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Police are currently on scene in the 2300 block of SW Frontage Rd., due to a collision involving an Amtrak train and motor vehicle, officials said.
Officials said no injuries from the passengers on the train at this time. The driver of the motor vehicle has moderate injuries and will be transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The SW and SE Evangeline Tw. remains in normal flow of traffic at the moment, police said.
