Community of Clovis invited to Las Mananitas’ grand opening

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The restaurant that replaced the Fosters Freeze location near Old Town Clovis is opening Thursday and the community is invited to attend the grand opening.

Las Mañanitas is a Mexican restaurant. In December of 2024, it was first announced by the restaurant that they would be opening a new location at the old Fosters Freeze location.

Fosters Freeze closed in August of 2024, when a sign appeared on the window saying “sorry, we’ve permanently closed.” No reason for the closure was provided.

Now, the new restaurant will be ready for people to enjoy. They also have a location in Fresno, located at 747 R St.

The Clovis Chamber of Commerce is having a grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
