Alexandria police investigating Loblolly Lane Shooting That Left One Critically Injured

ALEXANDRIA, La. (WNTZ) — A person is in critical condition following a shooting Monday evening in Alexandria, police said.

The Alexandria Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the 2500 block of Loblolly Lane around 6:30 p.m. on May 26. One individual was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further details were immediately released.
