The ensuing investigation led to Lamone Buffington, 20, of Baton Rouge being charged with indecent behavior with juveniles.
A detective responded to the 1100 block of North Ardenwood Drive and met with BRPD at the scene.
BRPD said a girl was showering in a bathroom when Buffington came into the bathroom and moved the shower curtain.
He then said, “Let me get it just one time,” according to the affidavit. The girl said no to Buffington and asked him to leave, BRPD said.
The Baton Rouge man asked the girl to not “tell anyone that he asked
her for sex,” according to the affidavit.
She did tell her mother who then alerted police.
Witnesses said the girl was crying and shaken by what happened to her.
During questioning, Buffington admitted to going into the bathroom and pulling back the curtain in order to see the girl naked, BRPD said.
He admitted to asking the girl for sex but said “it was a mistake” and “he had a momentary
lapse in judgment,” according to the affidavit.
The Baton Rouge man was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Sunday, May 25.
