DESTREHAN – The defending Division I Select champion Edna Karr Cougars squared off with the Destrehan Wildcats in their spring game.
The teams wrapped up the evening with a 20-minute, running-clock period. Destrehan quarterback Jackson Fields connected with wide receiver and LSU commit Jabari Mack for a 70-yard touchdown.
Karr running back Tre Garrison scored a 15-yard touchdown, while Jermond Macklin found the end zone for the Cougars as well.
The high school football season will officially begin at the end of August.
