BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Multiple people will be charged after a fight between families outside Judge Fred Crifasi’s courtroom at the 19th Judicial District Court.
An argument led to the fight just after 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.
According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, “courtroom deputies and nearby BRPD officers intervened.”
EBRSO said a small child was hurt after some toppled onto him during the fight. They said the child sustained a bump on his head. There were no other reported injuries.
One man and seven women are all facing the same charges of inciting a riot, simple battery and child endangerment.
