By rssfeeds-admin Texarkana’s first homicide of 2025 happened in the 1300 block of Carroll Street. Police said when they arrived to investigate, they found a 21-year-old man had been fatally injured inside the home, and a 52-year-old was transported to CHRISTUS St. Michael with non-life-threatening injuries.
A post on the TAPD Facebook page said that while the investigation is in preliminary stages, they believe that the shooter or shooters fired several rounds into the house from the street before running off.
They ask that anyone with information on this shooting contact TAPD at 903-798-3876 or Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP. Tips may be provided anonymously, and a tip leading to an arrest may earn a $1,000 reward.
