Rapper 50 Cent visits Gov. Landry to discuss Louisiana projects
LOUISIANA (KTAL/KMSS) – Rapper and entrepreneur Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson met with Gov. Jeff Landry Thursday to talk about new Louisiana projects.

Jackson announced plans one year ago to expand G-Unit Film & Television by launching G-Unit Studios based in Shreveport. City councilmembers unanimously approved the 30-year lease agreement in March. The studio aims to revitalize Shreveport’s entertainment industry and generate new job opportunities in the community. Officials have called his projects “a boost” to the region’s economy.

“It was great to spend some time with @50cent today, discussing economic development projects in Louisiana,” Landry wrote on X.
