On May 4, the Jim Ned Volunteer Fire Department, Lawn Volunteer Fire Department, Buffalo Gap Volunteer Fire Department, Taylor County EMS, Taylor County Sheriff’s Office and Texas Game Wardens provided mutual aid for a UTV crash east of Ovalo.
Jim Ned VFD reported that the remote location of the accident made it difficult for first responders to locate those involved. They were transported by UTV and truck to an awaiting ambulance and a Native Air 39 medical helicopter. The conditions of those involved are unknown at this time.
“We would like to thank all the agencies involved and wish those injured a speedy recovery,” Jim Ned VFD shared online.
Jim Ned VFD did not disclose the nature of the accident, and BigCountryHomepage has reached out to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office for further information.
