Rollover crash reported near Tuscola, minor injuries reported

TAYLOR COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A rollover crash happened in southern Taylor County Monday night.

The crash occurred near the U.S. 83/84 intersection towards Tuscola. The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, Texas DPS and the Jim Ned Volunteer Fire Department were all on the scene.

Officials say the vehicle was traveling southbound on U.S. 83 when the driver failed to maintain their lane, overcorrected, and went into a side skid before coming to rest on the roof.

The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital. Officials say citations may be issued.
