Multiple fire departments get $84K from Fire & Ice Feast

BUFFALO GAP, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Volunteer fire departments in Buffalo Gap, Jim Ned, Lawn, and Moro received a total of $84,000 in funds at the Fire & Ice Feast banquet on March 8. Each department received a check for $21,000.

The funds were raised through various events, including a cook-off and car show at the Fire & Ice Feast on February 1-2. The banquet served as the final event, where the funds were distributed.

The Fire & Ice Feast is an annual fundraiser that supports volunteer fire departments by providing financial resources through sponsorships, donations, and events.

The departments that received checks were:

  • Buffalo Gap Volunteer Fire Department
  • Jim Ned Volunteer Fire Department
  • Lawn Volunteer Fire Department
  • Moro Volunteer Fire Department
