Bay Area's largest boba festival celebration to take place steps from UC Berkeley campus
(KRON) — National Bubble Tea Day is coming up, and one Bay Area city is hosting the region’s largest celebration of the famed drink originating from Taiwan. Although the actual day is on Wednesday, April 30, Berkeley is celebrating this Saturday.

On April 26, the fifth annual Telegraph Boba Day Celebration will take place across three blocks just south of UC Berkeley’s campus. The event will take place from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. across 17 different brick-and-mortar boba shops in that three-block radius — with live music, special deals and giveaways.

Many of which are offering specials and promos, including at the following establishments:

This is the Bay Area’s largest and longest-running National Bubble Tea Day celebration, according to event organizers from Telegraph Berkeley.

Seventeen different establishments selling boba give bubble tea lovers plenty of options for the event. Boba shops in the area have a variety of different flavors from Taiwan, the Philippines, Japan, China and Korea, event organizers said.

Details about the boba specials for these Berkeley shops can be viewed on Telegraph Berkeley’s website.
