‘Twilight In Concert’ heading to New Orleans’ Mahalia Jackson Theater

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The “Twilight In Concert” national tour is making its way to New Orleans this fall.

According to a news release, fans of Stephenie Meyer’s novel and the hit movie “Twilight” can head to the Mahalia Jackson Theater on Oct. 14 for a special screening of the movie accompanied by live music from rock and orchestral musicians.

The release states the tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of the novel and aims to “transport audiences on a journey deep into the heart of this romantic story.”

Team Edward, Team Jacob and Team Bella fans alike will be able to experience Bella Swan and Edward Cullen’s love story in a new way as live musicians play the score alongside the movie.

In addition to the live music and movie screening, attendees can also expect more than one thousand candles decorating and lighting up the stage to set the mood.
