Deputies found 7 pounds of cocaine during drug raid; suspect in custody
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Victor Gutierrez, 34, on charges of manufacturing and delivering 7 pounds of cocaine, among other charges.

Officers spent multiple days investigating the suspect before searching a suspected drug house in the 2700 block of Lapey Street.

On April 3, around 6 p.m., authorities went to the house and forcibly entered the residence. No one was in the house at the time of the search.

Officials found 7 pounds of cocaine, 1 pound of weed, ecstasy and over $3,000 during the raid.

The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Winnebago County Jail just before 11 p.m. that night.

Gutierrez is charged with two counts of manufacturing and delivering cocaine, manufacturing and delivering cannabis and manufacturing and delivering ecstasy.
