Enjoy some sunshine!! Futurecast shows that we will see a clear to partly cloudy sky on Monday night. Expect another dry day on Tuesday with clouds mixing in with more sunshine. We will begin to see clouds increase on Tuesday night, with thunderstorms developing to the northwest of the ArkLaTex late Tuesday night. These storms will begin an on-and-off period of stormy weather that likely will continue into the weekend.
Pleasant temperatures: Temperatures on Tuesday will start off pretty close to normal with lows in the low to middle 50s. The combination of sunshine and a breezy southeasterly wind will likely warm us into the low to middle 80s.
A stormy long-range outlook: Our break from storms will end on Wednesday. The 10-day forecast shows strong to possibly severe storms returning to the ArkLaTex on Wednesday and possibly continuing through Saturday. The strongest storms and heaviest rain will fall on the northern half of the area. It will be rather warm this week with highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s and 70s. Cooler air will return on Sunday with highs in the 60s, with plenty of sunshine. Next week should be quiet for a change with a gradual warming trend.
