BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge student has been arrested after reportedly making bomb threats at Parkview Baptist School.
On March 24, school officials received multiple bomb threat calls and texts. Police identified the suspect as Makhi Matthews, 17. Matthews is a student at the school, police said.
Matthews was arrested and taken to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. He was charged with communicating of false information of planned bombing on school property.
This is an ongoing investigation.
