Motorcyclist killed in Mitchell County crash

MITCHELL COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A motorcyclist was killed during a crash in Mitchell County Tuesday night.

James Edward Wallace, 63, of Westbrook, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash I-20 in Mitchell County, according to to a crash report from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The report reveals Wallace was traveling west down I-20 when he attempted to overtake a vehicle from behind while it was turning.

When this vehicle turned, it collided with Wallace’s motorcycle, killing him upon impact.

This crash is still under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
