ST. MARTIN PARISH, La. (KLFY) – Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting that happened late Saturday night. It happened in the 1600 block of Smede Highway.

Authorities say three people were shot. All were taken to local hospitals. There conditions are not known at this time.

Authorities say the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle that ended up crashing. The suspect was apprehended and taken to a local hospital for injuries.
