Shreveport City Court receives wheelchair donations for mobility aid

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Willis Knighton Health is donating wheelchairs to Shreveport City Court for those in need.

Four wheelchairs will be provided to assist visitors with mobility issues at the Shreveport City Court. According to Willis Knighton, an estimated 60,000 people come through Shreveport City Court each year. The wheelchairs will not only help individuals who have difficulty moving around, but they will allow deputies to further assist people who are having medical issues.

Willis Knighton President and CEO Jaf Fielder presented the wheelchairs to City Marshall James Jefferson in a presentation on the Willis Knighton North campus.
