Darby Borough man charged with “heinous crimes of rape”

Darby Borough Police have arrested a man for “heinous crimes of rape” among other charges.

30-year-old Nafeas Alexander from Darby was arrested in February 2025 after a victim made a report to Darby Borough Police.

Alexander was charged with rape by force, sexual assault, false imprisonment, and possession of a weapon, among other charges.

Alexander posted 10% of his $100, 000 bail and was released.

On March 18, 2025, another victim reported Alexander for a crime he committed in July 2024.

Alexander was arrested again and charged with heinous crimes of rape, sexual assault, and related charges.

He is currently in custody awaiting his arraignment.

Police say there might be additional victims and urge them to come forward.
