Boil advisory issued in Bossier Parish after water main break

BOSSIER PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — A boil advisory has been issued in Bossier Parish after a water main break.

The boil advisory is for residents who receive service from the Village Water System, specifically those living on Princeton Road between Winfield and Drake Drive. The incident happened after a contractor broke a 4-inch water main while installing new water lines.

The boil advisory will stay in effect until officials finish the necessary water testing. Water samples will be collected and tested next week.
