Authorities searching for 3 suspects in Grambling State University isolated gun incident
GRAMBLING, La. (KTVE/KARD) — According to reports, the Grambling State University Police Department has obtained arrest warrants for Travonte Spears, Norris Kelly, and J’Quarrius Brown for their alleged involvement in an isolated firearms-related incident that occurred on campus.

On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, Grambling State University officials reported an isolated firearms-related incident near Bethune Hall, forcing officials to place the university on a lockdown until 4:04 PM. According to officials, no injuries were reported.

Grambling State University prioritizes the safety and well-being of its students, faculty, and staff. We are committed to maintaining a secure campus environment and will continue working closely with Chief Rodney Demery, GSUPD, and our law enforcement partners to bring these individuals into custody. We appreciate the ongoing support from all law enforcement agencies that responded to our campus today.
