UPDATE 3/11/25, 8:58 p.m.: Officials said, a man had been shot and was taken to a local hospital by a private vehicle.Opelousas myrtle street shooting
Officials later made contact with the man at the hospital and confirmed that he sustained a gunshot wound to his leg.
His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
