The courses, led by local artist Hillary George, are designed for individuals of all skill levels. Participants will learn the fundamentals of drawing, painting and composition, as well as how to work with a variety of mediums like acrylic and pastels. At the end of the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their work in a joint art show.
Adult classes are open for ages 16 and up and will be held on Sundays from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. from March 9 to April 27. Youth classes are available for ages 8 to 16 and will be held on Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. 7:00 p.m. from March 11 to April 29.
Participants can enroll in the entire 8 week program for $360 or take a class for $65 if a spot is available. All classes will be held at the Agora Borealis. For information or to register, visit the their website.
