INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis metro police are investigating after two people were shot on the city’s west side Monday night.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched around 9:24 p.m. to the 1400 block of Butternut Lane in response to a person shot run in the area.

IMPD said officers arrived on the scene and found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. They were last reported to be “awake and breathing”, according to IMPD.
