According to a press release, the program will include works by Bach, Camille Saint-Saëns, Friedrich Dotzauer, Consuelo Velázquez and Astor Piazzolla. Featured soloists will be NSU students Santiago Rovira, Maira Avellaneda, Aill Harris, Jesus Calderon, Karla González Bueno, Brad Powell, Associate Professor of Low Strings and Music Theory Paul Christopher, the combined NSU Double Bass Studio and the combined NSU Cello Studio.
The recital will be held on Thursday, March 20 at 5:30 p.m. at the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.
