JEANERETTE, La. (KLFY) — The Jeanerette Krewe of Ezana Mardi Gras parade has officially been called off, with no plans of being rescheduled.
Sunday morning, Jeanerette police announced on their Facebook page that the parade scheduled for today has been cancelled.
“Parade is canceled and will not be rescheduled,” they said. “Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused anyone.”
The Jeanerette Mardi Gras Association said parade entry fees that have been paid will be applied to the 2026 Mardi Gras Season.
This announcement comes after recent rumors that the parade would be canceled due to weather concerns.
Contrary to rumors, Jeanerette Mardi Gras parade will roll in 2025
