Wanted: Two Shreveport repeat offenders, allegedly targeting retail giant

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Shreveport police are searching for two individuals allegedly linked to a series of retail thefts at Target.

Shreveport Police said that since 2023, the two individuals have been responsible for five separate thefts at Target, totaling more than $1,600.

On February 16, the Target Asset Protection Team Lead reported that two repeat offenders, last seen approximately a year and a half ago, had resurfaced and committed another theft at the store.

Shreveport Police say that during their investigation, officers identified the two individuals as 34-year-old Moriah D. Valentino and 45-year-old Clinton E. Pickens using the complainant’s surveillance video of the suspects and social media.

Detectives found that both suspects have at least two prior convictions for theft. Allegedly, Valentino was present for all five incidents, while Pickens participated in four.

Shreveport Police detectives obtained arrest warrants for both suspects:

  • Moriah D. Valentino has been charged with five counts of Felony Theft as a Habitual Offender
  • Clinton E. Pickens has been charged with four counts of Felony Theft as a Habitual Offender.’

The Shreveport Police Department states they remain committed to holding repeat offenders accountable and protecting local businesses from theft.
