KLFY) — Three men were indicted for first-degree murder in the
drive-by shooting death of Jaleel Guidry in Opelousas in October, authorities said.
Gerard Griffin Jr., Deshawn Hickman and Isaiarion Warden were each indicted by a grand jury in the 27th Judicial District Court on one count of first-degree murder, three counts of attempted first degree murder and three counts of assault by drive-by shooting, according to District Attorney Chad Pitre.
Guidry, his girlfriend and his two young children were fired upon by multiple people while sitting in their parked car outside their home on Ina Clare Drive in Opelousas on Oct. 20.

Other indictments released from the 27th JDC include:
An indictment is not a conviction, but the determination by a grand jury that sufficient evidence exists for the accused to stand trial.
