Moncus Park launches free spring community programs

LAFFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — If you are looking to get more active, explore nature or connect with others, Moncus Park is offering over 50 free community programs this spring. From nature walks to game nights, Moncus is offering events the whole family can enjoy.

With the help of sponsors like Lafayette Pediatric Dentistry, Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists & Orthopedic Urgent Care and Louisiana Blue Moncus Park will host free programs that focus on community, wellness, and the environment.

In addition to regular scheduled programs, Moncus will also host special pop-up programs, dog park events and other exciting community engagements throughout the year. You can find program details and their full calendar here.

The program manager at Moncus, Gabrielle Keaton, said these programs create meaningful opportunities for residents and visitors alike to gather, learn, and engage for no cost.

“We are thrilled to provide a space where people of all ages and abilities can come together, explore new interests, and foster connections,” said Keaton. “Our free programs are designed to create an inclusive environment where the community can grow together.”
