Fans flock to Philly ahead of Super Bowl Parade
We are still hours away from the Eagles Super Bowl parade but thousands of fans are already getting an early start on a long parade day in the streets of Philadelphia.

Some fans got an extremely early start, camping out near the art museum as early as 9 p.m. Thursday night.

Throughout the streets of Philadelphia thousands of fans are heard screaming the Eagles fight chant, and anxiously waiting for the parade to begin.

The parade will officially kick off at 11 a.m. at Broad Street and Pattison Avenue and will end with a ceremony at the Philadelphia Museum of Art from 2 to 3:15 p.m.

The official parade route will begin at Broad Street and Pattison Avenue, then continue along Broad Street around City Hall, and finally go along the Ben Franklin Parkway to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

At around 12:30-1 p.m., the Philadelphia Eagles players and coaches will get ready and the ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. The ceremony will conclude at 3:15 p.m.

Those attending the parade should remember:

  • Get there early.
  • Have a plan to get there.
    • Multiple streets will be closed and SEPTA has a special parade service so plan accordingly.
  • Dress appropriately and warmly.
  • Have an exit strategy
  • Charge your phone the night before and bring a portable charger.
  • Stay hydrated but be prepared that bathroom access will be sparse.
  • Bring your own food and beverages.
  • Have patience.
