Calloway’s 2024 campaign was both his best collegiate season and a year for the Privateer record books.
The New Orleans native finished this past season with 11 saves (fourth-most in a single season in program history), a .390 batting average (10th all-time at UNO) and Calloway’s Perfect Game All-America honor made him the first UNO All-American since Reeves Martin in 2019.
Calloway started all 54 games this past season and his statistical totals include: 18 home runs, 63 RBI, 80 hits and 63 runs with a 1.206 OPS, all team-highs.
Georgia will be Calloway’s third and final stop of his collegiate career. The Second Baptist High School alum played one season at Central Alabama Community College, before spending the past two years on the Lakefront. Calloway has one year of eligibility left.
The Bulldogs finished 2025 43-17 overall and with a top-eight seed in the NCAA Tournament, but Oklahoma State ended UGA’s season, handing Georgia an 11-9 loss in the Athens Regional.
