LSU-themed Halloween costumes for Game Day

KENNER, La. (WGNO) — With Halloween being a week away and LSU game day being this weekend, why not combine your game day outfit and your Halloween costume with an LSU-themed costume?

WGNO’s Kenny Lopez went shopping at Humbug Costumes in Kenner to find just what you need.

You may want to be a pirate or a genie for Halloween, but with LSU’s game day this weekend, and Halloween approaching, why not combine the two for an LSU-Halloween game day look.

“We have plenty of purple and gold. We’ve got sequin skirts, tutu’s, purple fishnet tights, tiger ears and tails, purple and gold shorts, purple jackets and we also have purple and gold corsets,” Danielle Daniels, Manager at Humbug Costumes said.

Daniels said you could wear purple and be Prince or you can even dress like an LSU showgirl in honor of Taylor Swift’s new ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ album.

“We have the classic black and white referee shirt with the whistle, where you can make all the game-winning calls,” she said.

“You can be a beer jug. B.Y.O.B. for your tailgate party, bring your own beer,” she said.

“And of course we have a tiger leotard romper which comes with ears and a tail. You will have the eye of the tiger,” Daniels said.

With all these costumes you will be ready for both Halloween and Death Valley.
