11 years later, Central City murder remains unsolved
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On September 3, 2014, police responded to a shooting in the the 2100 block of Foucher Street, but they didn’t find the victim.

Later, the body of 25-year-old William Eleby, Sr. was discover nearby on Amelia Street. Police said he ran there after he was shot and collapsed. They also say a second man who was in the area at the time was shot in the leg but was not the intended target.

CrimeStoppers offered a $2,500 reward, but 11 years after the attack, the crime remains unsolved. It’s the latest case to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
